Straw Bales and Seedlings

Finally got a few Straw Bales conditioning. Hopefully my Squash will love these and grow nice And big for me.

Butternut Squash

Mystery Peppers.  I planted Jalapeno and Habenero.  A big storm blew through and tilted my seed starting house.. unfortunately my peppers got mixed up.   I plan on starting more but might as well grow these and see what pops  up.

Tomatoes are now coming up!

Bobbi here is a resident stray. We TNRed him and he lives in a shelter on our porch. He is approximately  8 - 10 years old... I found out today he like to help me garden.

My new Lilacs are also budding out.

Back to Gardening

Been awhile since I have posted.  Many family things cropped up that needed more attention then my poor weed choked yard.  I still have heavy clay soil and plenty of weeds.

I now have a few Dwarf apple trees in my front yard. Looking forward to fruit eventually!  A blackberry bush is now hanging on in my backyard This year it hopefully will yield a good supply of cuttings to line the fence row.

A few days ago quite a few trees growing on the fence were cut out. Now I have sunlight! I just have to put it to work growing things.  So many ideas going around in my head...

Seedlings are starting to come up and I am anxious to start gardening again.  I forgot just how much I enjoy this. How happy I feel when I watch each plant sprout and grow.
